What kind of water must be used with TM humidifiers?
The TM humidifiers must be filled in with sterile water only.
Do TM humidifiers require sterilization?
The TM humidifiers must be sterilized after each patient.
How shall you sterilise the CCO and humidifiers (250 ml)?
The CCO model (250 ml) is autoclavable up to 134°C. The compatibility of polysulfone with the disinfecting products must be checked carefully. Products for floors and surfaces should be proscribed. Cleaning products containing the following components are not compatible: butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, acetone, cyclohexanone, ethanol, etherethyl, ethylmethylcetone, isopranol, metoxypropylacetate, methylisobutylcetone.
How shall you sterilise the TMS humidifiers (500 ml)?
The TMS model (500 ml) is autoclavable up to 134°C. The compatibility of polycarbonate with the disinfecting products must be checked carefully. Products for floors and surfaces should be proscribed. Cleaning products containing the following components are not compatible: amphotere formaldehyde, glyoxal, glutaraldehyde, succinic acid.
What is the cleaning procedure for TM humidifiers?
For both CCO and TMS versions, the cleaning procedure is as follows: - Unscrew the cover, throw the diffuser away, - Submerge in a decontaminating solution, - Clean, rinse, soak during 1 minute in clear water, dry - Sterilize (134° C sterilization), - Put a new diffuser and re-screw all the parts together.
What are the available flowrates of RTM3/REGFLOW TM?
- 1.5 l/min Scale graduated every 0.1 l/min - 5 l/min (scale expanded to 1.5 l/min) Scale graduated every 0.25 l/min from 0.5 l/min up to 2 l/min, then graduated every 0.5 l/min - 15 l/min (scale expanded to 5 l/min) Scale graduated every 0.5 l/min from 0.5 l/min to 5 l/min, then graduated every 1 l/min - 30 l/min Scale graduated every 1 l/min from 5 l/min to 30 l/min
What are the available flowrates of DEBSON/REGSON TM2?
There are nine flowrates available for each version:
Where is the time limit indicator on the hosepipes?
The time limit indicator is symbolized by an hourglass-shaped pictogram on the angled remote probe (i.e. the one connecting the hosepipe to the device).
What is the difference between a pressure regulator with bullnose fitting and a pressure regulator with pin-index fitting?
The bullnose fitting is used for large cylinders (more than 4 L in water or 0.8 m3) whereas the pin-index fitting is used for small cylinders. The pin-index fitting is a universal system. The bullnose fitting depends on the standard used in each country.
Suction
What are the available suction levels of the RVTM3?
- High suction: 0-1000 mbar/hPa and 0-760 mmHg - Medium suction: 0-600 mbar/hPa and 0-400 mmHg - Low suction: 0-250 mbar/hPa
What is the maximum suction level of the VENTURI TM ejector?
The maximum suction level of the VENTURI TM is 650 mbar ± 10 %.
What is the suction flow of the VENTURI TM ejector?
The suction flow of the VENTURI TM is 25 l/min at 650 mbar.
How are filters for safety jars packaged?
Up-front plastic filters are delivered in tubes of 10 single-use antibacterial plastic filters for RVTM3 vacuum regulator and for VENTURI TM ejector. Paper filters for the former safety jar of RVTM vacuum regulator and of VENTURI TM ejector are delivered in boxes of 100 single-use antibacterial paper filters.
When must filters for safety jars be changed?
The filter must be changed after each patient.
Does the safety jar require sterilization?
The TM safety jar with plastic filter up-front does not require any sterilization, except in case of accidental liquids' overflow or perforated filter.
What is the difference between the collection jars in polysulfone and the collection jars in polycarbonate?
On the long run, polysulfone is a material much more resistant than polycarbonate. The difference between the two also lies in the sterilization temperature. Collection jars in polysulfone are autoclavable up to 134° C (273° F) whereas those in polycarbonate are autoclavable up to 121° C (249° F).
Do TM collection jars require sterilization?
Polysulfone and polycarbonate collection jars must be sterilized.
For polysulfone and polycarbonate collection jars: Disassemble the jar and cover parts, Submerge each part in a decontaminating or predisinfecting solution (respecting manufacturers' protocols concerning dilution, rinsing and drying times), Clean (do not use abrasive tools), rinse thoroughly, dip during 1 minute in clean water, then dry, Sterilize, respecting manufacturers' protocols (disassembled parts, jar in vertical position, upside down, do not put anything on the top of jars) and respecting the temperatures and sterilization times, Reassemble all the parts together.
Polysulfone collection jars are autoclavable up to 134°C (273°F).
Polycarbonate collection jars are autoclavable up to 121°C (249°F) maximum. Polysulfone sturdiness can be altered by repeated cleanings in washing-machine.
The compatibility of disinfecting products with polysulfone and polycarbonate must be checked. Products containing glutaraldehydes, phenols, aldhydes, alcohols, amino-acids, isopropanol alcohols are not compatible. Do not use solutions for floors and surfaces.
Cristal plastic canisters for TM suction liners are not autoclavable, but only cold sterilizable.
How are single-use TM suction liners packaged?
TM suction liners are packaged in individual sealed plastic bags and delivered in cartons of 50 pieces. They must be ordered by multiple of 50 pieces.
