The vacuum regulator is a medical device designed to measure and precisely adjust the level of negative pressure during surgical or medical suction procedures. It is used for the controlled evacuation of fluids, secretions, or debris from the patient’s body, as well as for clearing the surgical field in case of obstruction. The vacuum regulator connects to a wall-mounted vacuum source via a direct probe or a rail-mounted system. For proper and safe use, it must be combined with a collection jar and a suction hose.
